Can I Sleep on Your Sofa?

Luther is Dale's foster. He is looking for a place to spend several days in July - she has a conference, a transport from Memphis and a week long training for work at UNH. Luther is looking for a place to crash in her absence.

Luther is a 9 year old rottweiler. He is house trained and has proper manners. He is energetic (check out his video). He is good with dogs but can not live with cats. He needs eye drops daily which he allows you to apply. He loves car rides, he is reliable when called, and he knows commands. He is good with kids. Bad habits: he chases cats, skins tennis balls and de-stuffs toys. He also stole a sock.

Approved adopters? Previous adopters? Can you take Luther? He is also available for adoption. Let us know! (other dogs also need foster homes!)

Mama Mia!

I'm Mia, a five year old special needs girl who came out of the shelter with 80% of my hair missing. I was successfully treated for a severe skin infection and then was evaluated at Cornell University where they discovered I have an auto-immune skin disease. It is completely treatable but will require me to take oral medication for the rest of my life. I take pills morning and evening right now. I have no redness or itching and have most of my hair back now. I feel so much better! I am a lovable girl who prefers to spend her time inside chillaxing with her humans! I love toys and will hoard them in my crate. I am great with other dogs and cats too. My only fault is that I am possessive of my toys. So I can be with other dogs if they are the laid back about sharing. I love to ride in the car and make a great traveling companion. I love my Kong jumbler ball and could spend hours letting you throw it for me!

Mia's meds cost approx $70/month right now. She has no adoption fee and is available to a family who will commit to her ongoing care in the north east.

I'm Donation my Birthday to the Dogs

This year I donated my birthday to the dogs. On June 28, I turned 54 years old, of which the last 20 years have been spent saving dogs. Because of your generosity, we raised $1846 for the dogs. There's still time to get in on the celebration, if you missed it. Wags & Kisses... Dale
