Abraham

August 4, 2011 - Anne writes: "Abe spends his happy days hanging out with his two "sister" dogs, Laurel, a wolf/lab mix and Monkey, another Pittie. He also shares his home with several cats, his adoptive human family Tommy, Anne, and two teenaged humans too. He has learned to enjoy the company of a big flock of chickens and two horses, and never has to go on a leash because he lives on a big Vermont farm. He goes for rides in the car, lounges evenings on the deck, and sometimes sits on laps. He recently had a happy surprise when his humans decided a raw food diet would be good for him and his co-dogs, so now he dines on fresh raw meat, veggies and even fruits. Watermelon is a favorite, as are frozen summer squash slices! All in all, life is sweet for Abraham, who has a very happy ever after!"

Currently living with his three ptittie brothers and sisters, two cats, and a seven year old child, Abe is an effortless addition to any family. He enjoys playing, walking, and relaxing; but more than all else Abe wants your affection. This boy simply wants to curl up next to his loved ones and enjoy the life he deserves. He has overcome many hardships throughout his six years and emerged a warm and loving animal just waiting to be appreciated. Abe know all basic commands, is house and crate trained, and exhibits reliable recall. He is wonderful with children, dogs, and all people. Abe is the rare dog who will easily acclimate and thrive in any truly loving situation with minimal effort.
