Tanya

November 27, 2007 - Tanya, now Toni, was adopted by Helen & Eddie. Toni herself emailed:

"I had a really good night...It was fun to meet Nana & Grandpa, they really seem to love me.  Then it was time to go to bed...I put my head on the bed and I think they would have let me come up but that bed is just a little too high for me. I slept on the floor right next to mommy on my DermaSaver pad.  I slept really good! I woke at at 4:15 am just to get reassurance that this wasn't all a dream.

Daddy took me for a nice walk at the park near our house. I met some people and dogs and I was very good.  I did however chase the kitty again this morning and mommy got kinda mad at me and yelled NO!!! But she forgave me right away. Both me & the kitty have had some nice deli roast beef. Well I'm going to go sit in the hall with my duck now cause Mommy is coming back in to use her computer and daddy is in his office doing work stuff. Thank you for rescuing me..I hope I get to see you again. Say hi to everyone over there for me...."

At three years old, this petite rottie girl is ready to start over. She loves people and leans for attention like a rottie does. Tanya is good with other dogs and sits quietly for attention. She does not guard her food or toys and looks to her handler for approval. Tanya has not been tested with cats or children. She is in New York state waiting to meet you!
