Maddie

February 12, 2008 - Maddie was adopted by Lori & Pete and family. After a bit of a difficult transition, Maddie has settled in and is loving family life!

Maddie, fka Precious, was returned when her adopter moved and the neighbors didn't like rottweilers. At 2-3 years old, this 96# rottie girl loves belly rubs, is house trained, crate trained, and good with kids as young as 4. Maddie should be the only dog in her new home, but is appropriate for new rottie owners.

A nameless stray from the streets of Manhattan, this 2 year-old Rottweiler girl is “Precious” to us and all who meet her. Correctly marked and docked, this young lady has mastered the Rottie "lean", and pushes into you inviting your touch until she slides to the ground for a belly rub. This playful girl will readily share her food and toys, and invite you for a game of catch. She is friendly with other dogs her own size, and would do well with submissive dogs who let her make the rules!! Maddie is looking for an active family who promises to love her “forever” and will devote the time to take her to obedience school and make a Rottie ambassador of her! Maddie will do best as the only pet in her family. She is social with people of all sizes and genders.
